Senior PHP Programmer

Lead Link Media, www.LeadLinkMedia.com, web development, search engine optimization, and online marketing company, is looking for a senior PHP programmer with a passion for development to join our team. This position will involve designing and building web interfaces, web applications, and web services-senior knowledge or experience in these areas is required. A successful candidate will work in harmony with other team members and management team to ensure development of systems and tools that will make LLM efficient and enhance the user experience. Desired Skills and Experience:

·    5+ years experience with PHP development in a LAMP environment

·    Experience with the MVC framework preferred

·    Advanced knowledge and experience working with MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, eCommerce and payment gateway integration.

·    Portfolio showing work that demonstrates a strong understanding of PHP and application architecture

·    Experience with MODx is a plus

·    Proven experience debugging performance issues in the large scale production environments

·    Ability to accept existing development standards and ensure they are adhered to

·    Strong team focused mentality; experience working with web development teams

·    Ability to communicate well with people of all technical ability levels

·    Ability to estimate project work time

·    Strong attention to detail

Summary of Duties

·    Design and build web interfaces, web applications, and web services

·    Creation the back end CMS applications/modules

·    Customizing and working with APIs for various websites for analytics, call tracking, and eCommerce

·    Troubleshoot issues as they occur

·    Educating developers on technical best practices

·    Responsible for technical process improvement and implementation
