Will Smith has been a vocal fan of Barack Obama and his plan to extend taxes on the welathy, but during a visit to France he was questioned if he would support a 75% tax level exactly what's being suggested by new Socialist President of France.
Business Insider explains, "The Hollywood star enthusiastically preached the text of paying one's proper share of taxes in a French TV interview this weekend."
"But when questioned about his take on the tax policy of French president-elect Franois Hollande, Smith's was surprised mad by the suggestion of a seventy five % tax rate on those earning above 1 million annually," reported BI's Alex Biles.
"I have no problem with Will Smith," Glenn declared at the beginning of the video.
Glenn explained that Smith shares the same opinion as many in Hollywood the rich need to pay more in taxes.
In the interview, Smith responds with a "God Bless America" and a laugh on hearing President-elect Hollande's suggested rate of 75 percent.
"You can see the particular shock of that number," Stu recounted. "( Smith ) is not a tax expert in Western european economics. It strikes him as surprising as it should strike you."
